January 2022, after two years of social distancing, we hosted our first Runaway Success Summit, an event experience connecting and inspiring a community of todays brightest entrepreneurs, business owners & leaders. Guests from all over Southern California were invited to spend the day socializing with creatives, business owners, and Trail Blazers of their industry. The event featured numerous photo ops, art installations, and interacting with a panel of million dollar business women, successful start up owners, entrepreneurs, and game changers of their industry.
We threw the event to inspire and cultivate community, and we did it the only way we knew how... the RUNAWAY INDIE way!
Runaway with us
We wanted to set the tone of the event right out of the gate. So every guest checking in was greeted with customized swag bags & event badges as they entered.
It didn't stop there, a tap wall "POUR WHAT YOU NEED" featured two drink options to be poured in their branded drink ware.
What's on tap you ask? Pour options included a "CEO Confidence Cocktail" or a "Big Boss Energy Mocktail".
Talk the Talk.
We wanted to design & create a fun photo op moment and designing a pink phone wall was just too good to pass up! "Talk the talk, walk the walk" was the perfect mantra to adorn this phone wall. You can always TALK about what you'll achieve, but it means nothing until you WALK the path to make it happen! A chance to pick up the phone and say out loud what you WILL achieve in 2022! The team at Desert Luna Photo Booth was there capturing every phone call.
The art of Shopping Small
Our team had so much fun creating a shop small art installation featuring pink shopping carts, fabulous florals from Lovestruck Blooms, and the perfect spot to pose for a snapshot with your fellow boss women.
The entire day featured so many different activities, photo op moments, and details to be captured. It's no surprise that Jessica Lynn photo managed to capture it all and grab some priceless behind the scene moments as well .
The Michelle Flores videography. team created a video experience that allows those who were unable to attend to still experience how impactful this community is.
Stage Details
A panel of six women, entrepreneurs, founders, brand managers, and creatives; sat on stage & inspired an airport hangar filled with 120 women. Each speaker a trailblazer in their own right and whose skill set made for a diversified panel.
Our stage was created by the RunawayIndie team and featured checkered geometric shapes, neon lights, and florals from LoveStruck Blooms.
We had beautiful furniture throughout the vent, including these amazing chairs our speakers sat in on stage, provided by Sundrop Vintage.
DID SOMEONE SAY COFFEE?
The Coffee Dose team was in the house and doing what they do best! Not only did we have its founder on our panel of speakers, Jeni Castro, but we also had her husband and staff slinging java at the coffee bar all day!
